KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and CULTURE
before starting to manufacture a product.

The most beautiful product in the world will only remain a museum piece if it cannot be easily reproduced and distributed at a reasonable price.

Knowledge, skills and product and process culture are essential to organize and manage production effectively.
They present what every Manager must know and master before starting to manufacture a product.

Our trainings provide the essential knowledge to possess. Mastering industrialization is a necessary step. The stages of rationalization, simplification, standardization… are essential.

Organisation

Controlling production costs is often the Achilles’ tendon of project profitability.
We provide our technical know-how in order to provide companies with the “product and process” knowledge necessary to enable them to better manage the organization of their project.

Product

The technical study of a product is one of the stages in the design and feasibility analysis of the project.
It is also called upon to evolve according to the various information and advice that will be received throughout the preparation of the project. It must provide clarification to a set of technical questions.

Production

Having an efficient industrial organization will help achieve a set of objectives. The most relevant are improving project performance, improving production management in order to meet the planned cost and quality criteria.
It is in these main areas that we bring all our skills.

Through these few tabs, we present the essential technical knowledge to study and organize the industrial manufacture of a product.

All these courses are built according to proven pedagogical approaches.

In collective training, animation is based on business cases or practical scenarios which:
– Promotes exchanges between participants,
– Allows the adaptation of contributions to the specific expectations of the participants (within the framework of the training objectives) and thus promotes the operational aspect.

In individual training , we rely on your personal business case. The studies and exercises come directly from your product and your organization.

Product analysis is the first step in industrialization.

This makes it possible to analyze each stage of the assembly of the product to verify its feasibility. It is also the stage of researching the first sources of productivity before focusing on manufacturing.

All trades – Improvement and simplification of products,
– Optimize the organization of operations and resources,
– Analyze, optimize and industrialize the product,
– Define the appropriate means and tools (best material means necessary),
– Define the quality criteria for each step and operation…

The final goal of this training is to define the times and material means of a product or an internal logistics organization . But to get this, you must first define:
– the manufacturing range of the product
– all logistics flows from the reception of raw materials to the shipment of finished products.

This study allows in particular to obtain valuable information allowing calculate costs and lead times of production through:
– Analysis of each stage of assembly to analyze its feasibility.
– The definition of the best necessary material resources.
– Optimization of the organization of operations and resources.

Study of times:
Textile / Clothing
Time study specific to the field of sewing. We use the GSD method as well as a computer application allowing to calculate the times very quickly.
Study of times:
All trades Assembly
Study of assembly times for all types of products. We use the MTM2 method as well as a computer application allowing to calculate the times very quickly.
Study of times:
Internal Logistics
Study of internal handling times for all types of organizations and products. We use the SMB2 method as well as a computer application allowing to calculate the times very quickly.

Process range: Assembly

All products

Analysis of the work and manufacture of the product. Search for the best manufacturing process according to volumes, diversity of references, material and investment resources…

Process range: Logistics

All trades

Study of logistics flows in stocks and manufacturing workshop. Analysis of the work carried out for each logistics loop. Search for the best handling process based on volumes, the diversity of references, material and investment resources…

Balancing
Production & Logistics
:

All trades

Balancing of manufacturing and logistics operations. Search for the most optimized process. Saturation of workstations and optimization of operating and organizational methods

This training is a continuation of the product and logistics flow study modules. It allows to approach the organization for 2 main types of cases: either a new project, or an existing reorganization. Depending on the needs, this training can be modulated according to the implementation needs of one or more of the following cases:
– Complete plant (ground plan),
– Warehouse,
– Production workshop,
– Workstation layout.

This course can also be organized for 2 main types of cases: either a new project, or an existing reorganization. (The information below is only an example).

New project (new workshop)
  • Study production ranges,
  • Analyze and calculate times of your current or future products,
  • Carry out manufacturing balances
  • Study new tools to improve manufacturing,
  • Organize the production workshop
  • Organize stocks and internal logistics flows,
  • Study a manufacturing position,
Existing reorganization (Productivity improvement)
  • Search for continuous progress (value analysis, 5S, Kaizen, SMED, Poka Yoké …)
  • Technical improvement (simplification of the product and the means of manufacture)
  • Global (or targeted) technical analysis of the production tool
  • Optimization of logistics flows
  • Rigorous analysis and organization of stocks

Having an efficient production framework is not a luxury but a very important obligation for a company.
The Production Manager is the link between technical, quality, sales, HR, etc.
Not only does it supervise the production tool, but it must also ensure its perfect organization.

Three types of knowledge are necessary to master this function: Management of personnel, Knowledge Product and Mastery of Process.

Management
  • Design and carry out the management of an “industrial” project.
  • Put into practice the general plan of the industrialization process of a product…
  • Organization of operators taking up positions
  • Operator management and regular rotation of skills.
  • Update of the march board
  • Implementation of actions to compensate and recover the delay.
  • Work organization (Ensures that everyone finds Tools and equipment)
  • Contribute to improving the know-how of the team or the workshop
  • Series change (Prepares series changes)
  • Communication (Ensure that all the information necessary to achieve the objectives)
  • Ideas for improvements (Encourages and solicits the emission of ideas for improvement within the group)
  • Training (Participates in the skills development of staff members)
Product
  • Make progress in the technical aspect and product design.
  • Analyze, optimize and industrialize the product
  • Search for deposits of productivity
  • Improvement and simplification of products,
  • Build ranges and Calculate times
  • Optimize costs, resources, margin…
  • Specifications,
  • Etc
Process
  • Diagnose and list the technical, production, economic and social issues.
  • Organize the workshop, the production lines, the workstations
  • Manufacturing balancing
  • Set goals, deadlines…
  • Quantifying material and human resources
  • Calculate material costs, MOD, logistics…
  • Workstation arrangements and operating methods,
  • Production organization (optimization of material and human resources),
  • Etc
